This is a lino print that depicts a view of the Hall at Sutton Scarsdale.
Sutton Scarsdale Hall is a ruined hall once owned by the Arkwright family and after many years of neglect, the estate was bought by a group of local businessmen who asset-stripped the house; this went as far as removing the roof in 1920. Some parts of the building were shipped to the United States where they eventually end up as film scenery and props. The site is now managed by English Heritage.
This is an original handmade print and is part of an edition of 9 prints, each print is individually numbered and signed by me the artist.
Each print is an unique image having slight variations from the printing process and its own edition number and may not be the edition photographed.
