The Sheep Roast
This is a handmade linocut print of a focal point in Eyam Derbyshire a contraption to roast a whole sheep. Eyam a small town in the Derbyshire Peak District and the site of well dressings Townsfolk would meet at festival times and use the roaster to roast a sheep to feed the masses.
This hand printed linocut depicts that. It is a limited edition of 10 prints, each print is individual and unique with its own edition number and signed by me the artist and therefore prints have slight variations and the print despatched may not be the one in the photograph.
